The Nilo's Joy
Six months have passed since Joan Wilder, a romance novelist, and Jack Colton, an adventurer, embarked on a journey on a ship, which they now call home and which has been towed to a port in southern France. Joan is having trouble writing her next work and refuses to discuss the possibility of marriage with Jack. Joan meets Omar, the governor of Kadir, at a bookshop and offers him the opportunity to accompany him to his homeland and write a book about it. On the other hand, Jack is approached by Ralph, an old foe who has just escaped from prison and wants to kill Colton for abandoning him to the police in Colombia. However, an Arab named Tarak interrupts them and asks for assistance in fighting Omar's gang.
China Anne McClain, who plays Uma, the daughter of Ursula from "The Little Mermaid," is no slouch when it comes to talent. Since she became the third wheel on her own comedy, Disney certainly wanted her for a couple more projects, and they got their money's worth with McClain. Uma runs the island, as well as a seafood dive bar and restaurant, with the sons of Captain Hook, Gaston, and other lesser pirates. However, seeing Mal on TV, seemingly living the high life, irritates her. On the isle, we meet Dizzy Tremaine (Anna Cathcart), a pre-teen hairdresser who is the granddaughter of one of Cinderella's nasty stepsisters. Dizzy's genuine talent as a hairstylist is overlooked by her grandma, but not by Mal or Evie, with her messy pigtails, color-splattered gown, and purple cat-eyeglasses barely disguising her copper eye shadow. She is not evil at all, unlike the other villains' children. Mal also protects her from being a victim of one of Uma's gang's extortion scheme, which leads to the reveal that she has returned, along with her purple hair.
