McLaren P1 LM ($3.6 million) tenth This isn't a production car, but it's a street-legal replica of McLaren's track-only P1 GTR. It was produced for a restricted number of buyers in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates by the British firm Lanzante, who purchased the original P1 built by McLaren.
This is something I bought for my preschoolers to play with. The lights and sounds were fantastic, but I had expected it to be larger. It's more akin to a matchbox car in size. It appears to be quite sturdy, although not the most durable toy car I've seen. If you're buying this for your child(ren) to play with at home, you'll be OK because it's still holding up in my preschool class. Vroom Vroom Vroom!

The Bugatti Veyron is the most expensive car in the world, costing $1.9 million.
How many automobiles can claim that they require an airport runway to reach top speeds? The Bugatti Veyron, which was first produced in 2006, does this: it is impossible to drive this supercar at high speeds on regular roads because you would simply run out of road too rapidly. This is an automobile that doesn't hold back, taking off at the touch of a pedal. The Veyron boasts a top speed of 415 kilometers per hour (258 miles per hour) with a 1,001 horsepower engine, making it the world's fastest production automobile until its successors were launched. It's a true exotic car, beautifully constructed and equipped with cutting-edge technology.
