We booked the Astir Odysseus as a last-minute vacation after three cruises were postponed. We wanted someplace warm and cultural in October, which is why we chose cheese Kos. The motel was chosen for its more tranquil setting. We arrived late in the evening and were immediately delighted by the staff's kindness, the stunning building and gardens, and our excellent accommodation. We awakened to a vista that left us speechless. In every way. Everywhere, the attention to detail was evident. The general cleanliness and upkeep were excellent. The personnel could not have been more accommodating or efficient. Although the meal was served buffet style, it was good and diverse. My DIL is a vegetarian, but she has always found something to eat. The Covid safety policy was strictly followed within the restaurants and bars, ensuring that you felt completely secure. The hotel seemed to be family oriented and had entertainment, something we seldom take use of when on vacation. The beach is a short strip, but the grounds are densely packed with big pools. After sunset, the grounds and gardens are a sight to see. We shall return, perhaps when the Covid menace has passed, and then paradise will reign!
